Using Voice Calls
Initiating a Call:
Click the call icon to start a conversation with any verified number in your Inbox.
You can also return a missed call directly from the Missed Calls list.
Receiving a Call:
When a call comes in, you’ll hear a ringtone and see a notification in the top bar.
Choose whether to answer or reject the call directly from your screen.
Missed Calls:
Track missed calls through the Mission Control button in the top bar.
Click the counter to open the full list in your Inbox, where you can:
Call back using the same outbound number.
Dismiss individual notifications.
View the corresponding SMS conversation.
Adjusting Audio Settings:
During a call or while initiating one:
Click the top-bar widget and tap the three dots to open Settings.
Select your preferred Speaker and Microphone from the list of available devices.
Top-Ups and Limits
Both outgoing and incoming calls count toward your total minutes.
Minutes are rounded up to the nearest full minute.
If your minutes run out during a call, it will not disconnect, but your balance will show as negative.
Once your balance reaches zero, you cannot initiate or receive calls until you top up again.
Calls received while your balance is empty will still appear in your Missed Calls list.
Call Logs:
You can access and download your call logs in two ways:
For a specific time period, go to Billing → Call Logs.
For a specific prospect, open Inbox → Prospect Details
Call Forwarding Settings
To ensure proper call routing:
Verify that the correct Call Forwarding Number is saved for each market under Settings → Markets & Limits.
Adjust your ring timeout to control how long a call rings before forwarding.
Note: Forwarded calls will still appear in your Missed Calls list.
TCPA Compliance and Calling Hours:
In accordance with TCPA regulations, A2P voice calls in the United States are restricted to the hours between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone.
Permitted Calling Window:
8:00 AM – 9:00 PM local time, Monday through Sunday.
Why This Matters:
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) protects consumers from receiving marketing calls during early morning and late-night hours. Violations can lead to lawsuits and fines.
Best Practice:
Launch Control automatically determines the recipient’s local time zone using their mailing state, ZIP code, or area code. Outgoing calls outside these hours are automatically disabled.
State-Level Restrictions:
Some states (such as Florida and Maryland) have additional limitations, including earlier calling cutoffs or daily call caps.
Always check for state-specific “mini-TCPA” laws when running multi-state campaigns.
Note: Federal law permits telemarketing calls between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM at the recipient’s location, with no variations for weekends or holidays unless a state law specifies otherwise.
