A prospect can only be pushed once. If a duplicate is detected, the existing record will be updated; if the contact is new, a new record will be created.

To get started you'll need:

  • A Launch Control account.

  • A Zapier account (the cheapest plan with webhook support suffices; sign up here).

  • A Pebble REI account.

Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the integration in minutes and avoid duplicates.

1. Prepare Your Accounts

  1. Open and log in to your Launch Control, Zapier, and Pebble REI accounts in separate browser tabs.

  2. In Zapier, create a new Zap:

    1. Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger app.

    2. Set Catch Hook as the event, then click Continue.

    3. Skip Pick off a Child Key and click Continue.

    4. Copy the webhook URL.

  3. In Launch Control, navigate to SettingsIntegrations, click Connect on the Zapier card, paste the webhook URL, and save.

2. Test the Webhook

  1. In Launch Control, find a non-interested lead with a verified phone number (required to enable the Push to CRM button).

  2. Leave a note (e.g., CRM test note) and click Push to CRM.

  3. Back in Zapier, click Test Trigger. The test lead should appear as Record A; click Continue with the selected record.

3. Configure the "Find Contact" Action

  1. Add an action step in Zapier:

    • Search for and select Pebble REI.

    • Choose Find Contact as the action event, then log in to your Pebble account.

    • Click Continue.

  2. Map the search parameters (Name, Email, or Phone). We recommend:

    • Name (default)

    • Email (if consistently available)

    • Verified Phone Number (if using phone)

  3. Under Action dropdown, select Mark ‘successful’ and run steps that use each result, then click Continue and Test this step.

4. Add Conditional Paths

Use Zapier Paths to handle new vs. existing contacts.

Path A: Contact Not Found

  1. Click Add a Path and name it Contact Not Found.

  2. Set a custom rule:

    • Find Contact in Pebble REIZap Search Was Found Status

    • Condition: (Text) Exactly matches → false

  3. Add the Pebble REI action Create Contact, then log in if prompted.

  4. Click Continue, map your CRM fields (use merge fields from Launch Control), then click Test and verify the new contact appears in Pebble.

Path B: Contact Found

  1. Add another path named Contact Found.

  2. Set a custom rule:

    • Find Contact in Pebble REIZap Search Was Found Status

    • Condition: (Text) Exactly matches → true

  3. Add the Pebble REI action Update Contact, then log in if needed.

  4. Click Continue, map the Contact ID from the Find Contact step, configure the remaining fields, then click Test.

    • If you encounter an error (e.g., data already present), retest the integration from the top: Catch HookFind Contact.

Hit publish and you’re done!

You have now set up a seamless, one-way integration from Launch Control to Pebble CRM via Zapier without creating duplicates. All leads pushed will update existing contacts or create new ones automatically.
